Start at Blaarmeersen (17:45)
We will start the evening with a welcome drink at Blaarmeersen. Our experienced guides will provide all the necessary equipment, including kayaks, paddles, and torches. No prior kayaking experience is required, making this tour perfect for both beginners and experienced paddlers. After a brief explanation of paddling techniques, we will paddle along the Coupure river to reach the city center.
Dinner in the city center
After 2 hours of kayaking, it’s time to take a break!
All kayaks are taken out of the water in the historic city center of Ghent. It’s time to have a delicious dinner. When the stomachs are well filled, we arrive back at the kayaks. Meanwhile, the torches are lit.

Explore the beautiful canals of Ghent in a unique and exciting way – by kayak, with torches lighting the way. This tour takes you on a journey through the historic city center, with stunning views of medieval architecture and a beautiful waterfront. The spectacular view of the city lit up at night is surely a sight you will never forget. The tour ends where we started, at Blaarmeersen.
